How does Tonic make it easy for me to do good things?

Making it easy for you to do good things is what we are all about! We are thrilled to support all types of philanthropic endeavors and always want to explore the ways we can work together to make the world a better place. Our stories will tell you about good things happening in the world - and how to do something to help a person, cause or other do-gooder.

At Tonic, you can do good things by reading, shopping, sharing and participating. Tonic Projects are special collaborations with people and causes including Designers Donna Karan and Luella Bartley, Alex and Ani, Abigail Disney and Peace is Loud and more. These limited-edition products will help do a bunch of good things - from eliminating hunger and poverty to planting trees to providing fresh water, shoes and other items to people in need - and make it easy for you to do good things (and look good in the process).

How do I know if I'm buying eco-friendly, fair labor and fair trade at Tonic?

Every item in our shop is reviewed with a strict set of metrics before we approve it for sale to you. Our products carry icons to help you identify these attributes:

CauseCause icon: Indicates that a product supports a valid cause with positive impact.


GreenGreen icon: Indicates that a product is made with eco-friendly materials such as bamboo, organic cotton, recycled fibers, etc. and utilizes green processes in its manufacturing. These processes might encourage energy efficiency, low impact techniques, appropriate waste management, recycling, renewable energy and carbon offsets.


Fair LaborFair Labor: Indicates that a product did not involve forced or child labor, harassment, abuse or discrimination. Tonic seeks products that practice freedom of association and collective bargaining and whose manufacturers offer fair wages, benefits, hours of work, overtime compensation and safe working environment.


Fair TradeFair Trade: Indicates that a product derived from a manufacturer in the United States or is otherwise fairly traded internationally. Tonic seeks and evaluates partners, affiliates and suppliers who are actively engaged in supporting producers that create opportunities for economically disadvantaged producers, practice gender equity, offer transparency and accountability, promote payment of fair price and practice fair labor.

I have a great idea for an article to write for Tonic? How do I submit my idea?

Tonic gladly accepts content submissions about all things good. Our editors will review articles and work with contributors to evaluate your submissions for publication. We also welcome your photos and video (especially if you are sporting one of our cool products). It will help us share the good you are committing!

What are my shipping options?

Positively good news! Tonic offers simple, flat rate shipping for both our Domestic and International customers! Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email confirmation with all the information necessary to track your package. Please note that orders placed by 6:00pm Pacific Time will be processed the next business day. Any orders placed on holidays or weekends will be processed the next business day. The transit times provided below are estimates provided by our shipping partners and do not include order processing time.

Domestic Orders

United States: Our flat rate for shipping is $7.00. Once your package ships, it usually takes 2 to 5 business days for your order to arrive.

International Orders

We welcome international orders from almost any location on the planet. International orders are billed in US dollars. Please note that all international orders must be billed and shipped to the same address and will be processed once credit information is verified with the issuing bank. Additionally, there may be duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon delivery and they are not included in your order total.

Canada: Our flat rate for shipping is $14.00. Once your package ships, it usually takes 3 to 7 business days for your order to arrive, unless it is delayed by Customs.

Other Destinations: Our flat rate for shipping is $21.00. Once your order ships, it usually takes 7 to 14 business days for your package to arrive, unless it is delayed by Customs.

Some of the products we carry ship directly from our partners. This may result in more than one package being shipped to fulfill your order. We will supply you with carrier tracking information for each of your packages, regardless of where the shipment originated.

Can I exchange Tonic merchandise?

Tonic loves our products and wants you to love yours, too. We are more than happy to accept returns or exchanges on incorrect sizes, shipping errors or defective products. Please contact us at customerservice@tonic.com right away so we may correct any shipping issues.

How do I give Tonic merchandise to my employees?

Tonic is happy to help you fulfill your group and corporate needs! If you would like to make a purchase of 10+ units of any Tonic product, please contact us at grouporders@tonic.com so we can better serve your needs.
