Tonic Tees by designer Donna Karan's Urban Zen

Tonic's mission is to make it easy for people to do good things, so a partnership with Urban Zen is natural given the organization's initiatives to define solutions and implement action in the areas of well-being, empowering children, and preserving cultures. Each of the four designs in the collection was inspired by solutions and actions implemented by The Urban Zen Foundation. Constructed with an incredibly soft and environmentally savvy blend of 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton, these tees feature robust designs in a variety of colors for men and women.

urban zenDonna Karan's quest for the perfect jeans, as well as her desire to dress her daughter Gabby, resulted in the 1989 birth of DKNY. It grew so popular and diverse that other brands and labels spun from it, including DKNY Jeans, DKNY Active, DKNY Underwear, DKNY Jeans Juniors, and DKNY Kids. DKNY has an accessories and shoe collection to underscore its New York City street-smart look. In 2006, Donna founded the Urban Zen Initiative to raise awareness and inspire change by promoting well-being, preservation of culture, and empowering children through forums and special events.

your impact

10% of sales

10% of sales from these tees goes to the Urban Zen Foundation. The Urban Zen Foundation strives to create a world where compassion and caring are the universal language via three main initiatives. The Well-Being initiative seeks to further the best possible outcomes for patients by combining Eastern healing techniques, yoga therapy, aromatherapy and western medicine in a holistic approach to patient care. The Empowering Children initiative works to provide children with education and new tools of empowerment so that they may provide for themselves spiritually and physically, thereby caring for the future. Finally, the Preserving Cultures initiative aspires to empower cultures to maintain their identities, dignity, and spirit through sustainable means.
